Stefan Lastin, the Down-to-Earth Top Chef

The award-winning chef in Frierss Feines Haus in Villach is considered one of the kitchen geniuses of the region, and has been a member of KÜCHENKULT from the beginning.

Stefan Lastin’s passion for his job is remarkable. When asked why he became a chef, he answers, “Because it is the finest job on earth.” And to the question what his most important kitchen tool is, he responds, “My team. It’s indispensable.”

Since their opening in 2013 this Gault & Millau-awarded chef has led the kitchen in Frierss Feines Haus. His dishes involve such amazing creativity and sophistication that his cuisine is regularly awarded and honored - and it’s also why Stefan Lastin has been part of KÜCHENKULT since the beginning in 2015.
