As of October 1, 2022, our gourmet partners and KÜCHENKULT producers,Julia and Hans Putz-Himmel from Tschudl Hof in Vassach, have taken over the Enotega restaurant in Villach. After the reopening on November 18, the guests of Enotega by Tschudl Hof can look forward to 100% regionality and products from their own production.
The "From Nose to Tail" cuisine simply means a whole animal approach. The Putz-Himmel family, who run an exclusive Charolais and Black and Red Angus cattle farm on its own farm in Vassach in addition to a large chicken farm, lives by the idea of processing not only the sought-after tenderloin pieces when slaughtering the animals, but all parts of the animal if possible. Because "nose to tail" is a sensible, sustainable and mindful use of available resources. Up to 80% of the own products will be processed in the "Enotega by Tschudl Hof", the rest comes from regional farmers to promote the region Villach - Faaker See - Ossiacher See.
The young taste virtuoso, Egor Kirikov, is responsible for the creations from the kitchen in the "Enotega by Tschudl Hof". He wants to convey emotions to his guests, and he succeeds in doing so. The curiosity for new culinary paths is reflected in Kirikov's dishes.
