The foundations for the Hartl Butcher Shop in Villach’s St. Martin neighborhood were laid back in 1926. From the beginning, this small business quickly made a name for itself as a high-quality butcher shop that valued craftsmanship, and is still run as such today by the third generation of the family.

Their great enjoyment of their profession and the constant quality of all their handmade products is reflected in a diverse collection of distinctions and awards from national and international competitions. In addition to the shop in Villach’s Ringmauergasse, which even has a café, you’ll also find the butcher shop in Villachs’s weekly indoor market.
