Since 2022, the passionate chef has been head chef at the VOCO Villach business hotel in Villach's old town. In this role, he is not only head chef of the hotel's own gourmet restaurant Lagana, but also responsible for the culinary arts in the neighboring Congress Center Villach.
For the consistently high quality of his cuisine, the Chef de Cuisine relies mainly on products from the Alps-Adriatic region, which allows him to guarantee good cuisine, in terms of freshness and quality.
Mayerl describes his kitchen philosophy as being a guest in all kitchens of the world, but at home in Carinthia. This is also reflected in the passionately honest dishes that the likeable chef conjures up on the tables of his guests - simply the taste of Carinthia interpreted internationally.
