The KÜCHENKULT family is happy to welcome another valuable member to their team. Since August 2022, the young Carinthian, who grew up in Hermagor and learned his trade at Weissensee, has been the new chef de cuisine at Frierss Feines Haus. Before this, he gained a lot of experience in Switzerland, in Mallorca and most recently in the Fritz + Friedrich restaurant in Obertauern.

Pass prides himself on being passionate about reintegrating well-tested ingredients from the region. He is often inspired by different culinary journeys he experiences. An example of this is in Bangkok, where he was particularly impressed with the Asian cuisine and the exciting interplay of flavors and ingredients there.

Patrick Pass connects the Villach - Faaker See - Ossiacher See region with the unique nature and the open-hearted people who live the combination of tradition and innovation, just like him.

With Pass & Team, the Frierss family is happy to have a kitchen team that expands the award-winning cuisine of the house with creative, Asian-inspired dishes with an Austrian influence.

The seemingly limitless creativity of the award-winning chef, paired with culinary cosmopolitanism, gives the Frierss Feines Haus kitchen another unique facet. This is most definitely something guests can look forward to!
